AMD Ryzen X3D Gaming PCs
X3D gaming PCs: extra cache for high frame rates
AMD Ryzen processors with X3D in their name carry additional L3 cache that AMD stacks on the chip as 3D V-Cache. Games benefit most when the processor is the limiting factor, which typically means 1080p gaming and high frame rates.
When X3D pays off
How big the advantage is depends on the game, the resolution and the graphics card. At high resolutions such as 4K the graphics card is usually the limit, so X3D and other processors end up close together. The PCHM performance index gives guide values for your combination.
X3D processors in our PCs
- AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D: preselected in most of our X3D PCs
- AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
- AMD Ryzen 7 9850X3D and Ryzen 5 7500X3D in selected models
They are paired with graphics cards from the RTX 5060 to the RTX 5080 and from the RX 9060 XT to the RX 9070 XT, mostly with AIO liquid cooling. Every PC is assembled and stress-tested, processing time is 5–7 working days, and you get a 24-month PCHM warranty.
