What Happens After You Order? Your PC's Journey to You

You've ordered your custom PC from us – so what happens next? Here is, step by step, what goes on in our workshop in Erftstadt, Germany, until your PC arrives ready to go.

Step by step

1. Order confirmationRight after you order, you automatically receive a confirmation email. For PC orders, a separate email with your access to the PCHM Companion App follows.
2. We check your configurationBefore we start, we check your order and system for compatibility. If something doesn't fit – for example, if the power supply is too weak for your configuration – we get back to you with an alternative, which you can confirm in the app or by email.
3. Parts from our stockOnce everything checks out, we pick the components for your PC from our warehouse.
4. Assembly and setupYour PC is assembled by hand, cable-managed and set up the way you want – for example with your chosen operating system.
5. Stress testsBefore it leaves the workshop, we test your PC under load. Only when temperatures, noise and stability are right does it move on.
6. Gamertag stickerFinally we add your personal sticker with your gamertag, which you can enter in the Companion App.
7. Packing and shippingWe pack your PC securely and hand it over to DHL. You'll find the tracking number in the app. You can also collect your PC from us in Erftstadt by appointment.

The free PCHM Companion App lets you follow every step: assembly, Windows and drivers, stress tests, quality control and shipping. You also get exclusive photos of your build, questions from us to confirm, shipment tracking and, once it arrives, a setup assistant for the first boot.

Packed to arrive safely

Inside the case, air cushions and paper protect the components in transit, and accessories and documents ship in a separate box. We make the padding for the outer box ourselves from old cardboard – as sustainable as possible, as safe as possible.

How long does it take?

• Configured PCs: Every PC is built after you order. The current processing time is shown on each product page (currently 5–7 working days).
• Express PCs: 48-hour processing time, included in the price.
• One-off systems: already built and shipped within 24 hours.

We check every order for compatibility. If something doesn't fit, we suggest an alternative that you can confirm in the Companion App or by email.

How do I track my PC?

With the free PCHM Companion App. You receive your access in a separate email after ordering a PC.

Can I collect my PC in person?

Yes, by appointment you can pick up your PC from us in Erftstadt near Cologne.

Which carrier do you use?

DHL. You'll find the tracking number in the Companion App and in the shipping email.
